H&M: Coming Straight To Your Door!

H&M is getting ready to launch online ordering in the U.S. Read on to get all the details about this long-awaited offer.
H&M launching online ordering
Are you sitting down? If not, you better find a chair, stat. H&M is finally launching online ordering in the United States.
That’s right – now you can stock up on your H&M goodies from the comfort of your own home. It was only available to European fashion fans before – and it’s about time they changed.

H&M tweets online plans

H&M announced their U.S. e-commerce launch via their official Twitter account.
"Good morning is an understatement! H&M has decided to have online shopping in the US at the turn of the year 2011/2012! Stay tuned for more,” H&M tweeted late last week.
The bad news?
It looks like we won’t have the online ordering option here in the U.S. until sometime later this year or early 2012. We’ll wait for it – especially if that means they’ll start selling their designer collections online.

H&M: Online competition

Though they’re mega-popular, it’s likely H&M decided to tackle U.S. shipping to fend off increasing online shopping competition. Nearly every retail store has an online shopping option – and not offering it worked to H&M’s disadvantage, especially since their U.S. stores are confined to a few U.S. cities.

Are you excited about this H&M news? Will you shop H&M when you can get it online?

Will you take the wardrobe challenge?

What's the challenge?

A wardrobe challenge is simple. You pick 30 items from your closet that you are going to use to create every outfit you need for the next month. Then you create 30 completely different outfits for the 30 days. (You can make it a little easier by starting in February since there are only 28 days.)

Do shoes count?

Yes, shoes count. Some stylists and bloggers who have taken the challenge will say that you shouldn't count jewelry and accessories. But if you want to make it especially challenging, you can include them in your 30 items.

Can I buy something new?

No -- you need to make the most of your own clothes. No shopping for the entire month. Believe me, you'll be able to create outfits that you never dreamed of, if you give yourself limits and pick verstaile pieces. If the 30 item challenge is easy for you, next month make it more difficult and only use 15 pieces for the whole month.

What's the point?

There are several reasons you might want to take take the challenge. You can: discover new ways to wear clothes you have; challenge your creativity and fashion sense; and cut down on your spending. Plus, it's a lot of fun. Take the challenge with a group of girlfriends and see who comes up with the most creative outfits.

Red Carpet Fashion Failure

Boardwalk Empire actress Paz de la Huerta was a flop on the red carpet at the SAG Awards on Sunday, January 30, 2011.

Paz de la Huerta - SAG AwardsHer dress

Paz is known for her hot body and showing lots of skin. She certainly had plenty of other options other than squeezing into this ugly brown (copper?) sequin dress. She looks like a sausage.

Her hair

It looks like Paz de la Huerta took a stab at the ombre hair trend. Well the dip dye look doesn't look trendy or flattering on her.

Her makeup

Every time that I've ever seen her at an event, she always matches her lipstick to her dress. I'm not sure what the point is, but it seems to be her "thing." Well at the SAG Awards, it wasn't a good look at all. Plus, she wears very little eye makeup at all -- making her eyes disappear. And not to be snarky, but someone needs to hand the girl some blotting tissues -- her skin is always shiny.
It's not the first time Paz de la Huerta has been caught with a messy style...
